- Morning Welcome
As in our day care centres, we prioritise a welcoming time to establish a climate of trust. We respect each child’s individuality, rhythm and needs. Children are welcomed early in our facilities and transported to their school via our secure vehicle fleet. This moment helps ease separation and sets the tone for a peaceful day.
- Mealtimes
At Rockids, meals in our day care centres are much more than simple nourishment. They are opportunities to develop autonomy through self-service systems, where children choose and serve themselves.
This empowers children to make decisions, eat at their own pace, and enjoy balanced, shared meals in a respectful and friendly atmosphere. Educators guide them, encouraging good habits and ensuring that every child feels comfortable and respected.
- Homework Support
Homework sessions are crucial for supporting each child’s learning. Educators provide personalised help, assist with organisation and comprehension, and help children overcome challenges. In a calm and reassuring environment, children develop concentration, independence and confidence in their abilities through encouragement and recognition.
- Active time
Children are invited to participate in physical activity sessions twice a day to raise their awareness of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
- Educational Time
Non-formal education complements school learning by offering hands-on, practical experiences through workshops, outings and group activities. Children are active participants in their learning journey.
Action and experimentation are central to their development. Each child learns at their own pace, driven by interests and individual needs. This fosters motivation, engagement and the development of key social skills, creativity, autonomy, critical thinking and openness to diversity. Children are invited twice a day to take part in physical activity sessions to raise their awareness of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
- Home Time
The return home is an important moment to ensure a smooth transition between the care centre and family life. Conversations between parents and educators allow us to share highlights of the day, discuss the child’s needs and ensure continuity. This clear, caring communication supports each child’s well-being and emotional security.
