At Rockids, we believe that educating children goes hand in hand with respect for people, the planet, and the social fabric. Our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach is at the heart of our mission: to provide high-quality childcare while making a positive impact on the environment and society.
Environment: tangible actions every day
- Local and seasonal food: our meals are prepared using fresh ingredients in partnership with local producers.
- Waste reduction: selective sorting, and raising children’s awareness of recycling.
- Green spaces: our facilities include gardens that foster contact with nature and learning about biodiversity.
Throughout the year, we also implement eco-awareness initiatives for children aged 2 to 12, focusing on waste management and environmental responsibility. Through age-appropriate educational projects, children actively explore eco-friendly behaviours.
We organise key events in line with international awareness days:
- 18 March – Global Recycling Day: sorting workshops and creative projects using recycled materials
- 20 March – World Water Day: sensory experiments and discussions on water conservation
- 18 June – Sustainable Gastronomy Day: learning about seasonal produce and anti-waste cooking workshops
- 20 September – World Clean-Up Day: community litter picks in collaboration with local municipalities
- 8 December – World Climate Day: storytelling and conversations around protecting the planet
These are complemented by educational outings to key locations in Luxembourg: recycling centres, forests, pedagogical farms, and community gardens—making learning meaningful and connected to real life.

- Accessibility: our nurseries and day care centres are open to everyone, with respect for the community and within the limits of our supervision capacity.
