A wide range of enriching activities to support every child’s development
At Rockids, we believe that every day is an opportunity to grow, learn, and marvel. With our inviting gardens, thoughtfully designed living spaces, and shuttle services, we offer a wide variety of educational, creative, and physical activities in a safe, stimulating, and caring environment.
Environments designed to inspire and awaken the senses
- Adapted living spaces created to spark curiosity and encourage autonomy.
- Individual and group activities, including free play and guided sessions led by professionals to support optimal development.
- Gardens and outdoor areas designed for children to play and thrive in the fresh air.
Thematic activities throughout the year
Our educational teams develop thematic projects over several weeks, allowing children to explore the world around them:
- Sensory exploration (Snoezelen space)
- Immersion in nature (seasonal tables, farm visits, etc.)
- Well-being education (emotional awareness, healthy eating, body expression, etc.)
- Artistic expression (creative workshops, theatre, etc.)
- Multilingual environment (family involvement, books, storytelling, etc.)
During school holidays, imagination and creativity take centre stage! Each week, a new fantastical theme transforms our nurseries and day-care centres into magical worlds: astronauts, princesses, knights, explorers…
Creative activities, role-playing games, and a special outing (to the zoo, museum, park, performance, etc.) bring these times to life with excitement and joy.
Celebratory moments to share and enjoy together
Throughout the year, we organise festive and cultural events that allow families to discover both local and international traditions:
- Carnival (Liichtmëssdag), Easter, Halloween, Saint Nicholas, Christmas…
- Parent celebrations, birthdays, Epiphany, Luxembourg National Day, and more.
Local partnerships to open up to the world
Each centre builds partnerships with the local community (schools, libraries, retirement homes, associations…) to strengthen social bonds and promote solidarity:
- Intergenerational activities
- Charity and community workshops
- Collaboration with media libraries to enrich our reading and music corners
Our day-care centres also organise weekly educational, sporting, and cultural outings: swimming, climbing, museum visits, theatre trips… all designed to spark curiosity and broaden children’s horizons.
At Rockids, every activity is carefully designed to help children grow with joy, confidence, and at their own pace.
